Putting Empathy Into Action
Here you will find different campaigns and programs to help parents and educators inspire kids to make a difference for others, share their story and celebrate those who are going above and beyond to BE FEARLESS BE KIND.
A great resource to help youth put empathy into action is generationOn, the youth service division of Points of Light. Visit www.generationOn.org to access programs and project ideas to help youth take action in their community to make the world a better place.
The pledge was designed by the Hasbro Community Action Heroes, 10 children ages 7-17 from around the country with a passion to make the world a better place and spoken word artist Max Stossel. The pledge calls on youth to be fearless and kind, by standing up for others, being inclusive, and making a difference. Watch our pledge video to learn more. We invite you to download the pledge and take it with your families.
Each year since 2010, Hasbro has recognized a fearless group of young people between the ages of 5 and 18 for their extraordinary community service and volunteer activities as Hasbro Community Action Heroes. This award recognizes outstanding young volunteers who show that you are never too young to make a difference in your local or global community.
Involve students in reducing bullying in schools and promoting peace. The peace summit engages students in raising each other’s awareness of the hurt caused by bullying and exclusion and in sharing their ideas for creating peace at school.
