Each year, generationOn and Hasbro partner to help young people spread joy in their communities during the holiday season. Hasbro will donate a toy or game to Toys for Tots for each kid or teen engaged in service through the month-long campaign, up to $1 million. In 2015, nearly 150,000 youth worldwide participated – now that’s a lot of joy!
The 2016 JoyMaker Challenge is in action now through December 23. Visit Joymaker.generationOn.org to help your kids become Joy Makers, get ideas for service projects and share your story.
Each year since 2010, Hasbro and generationOn have recognized a fearless group of young people between the ages of 5 and 18 for their extraordinary community service and volunteer activities. This award recognizes outstanding young volunteers who show that you are never too young to make a difference in your local or global community. Hasbro Children's Fund and generationOn celebrate these Community Action Heroes for their efforts to better the lives of others.
Kids make the rules! GenerationOn’s Rules of Kindness campaign, sponsored by Hasbro, challenged thousands of kids and teens to build empathy, be inclusive and show they care!
Visit generationOn.org/rulesofkindness to read stories of the action youth took as a result of this campaign and the “Rules of Kindness” created nationwide.
Involve students in reducing bullying in schools and promoting peace. The peace summit engages students in raising each other’s awareness of the hurt caused by bullying and exclusion and in sharing their ideas for creating peace at school.
